Shaking My Head

A 27-year-old Connecticut woman, who was either unaware she was pregnant or was hiding her pregnancy, was found dead in her home yesterday after giving birth to triplets alone in the house.

The woman’s mother arrived home about 1 p.m. and found her daughter and the three infants, all boys, on the floor, police Detective Ben Trabka said.

Trabka would not identify the woman, but sources said she was Victoria Hope, 27. The house is owned by her parents, William and Frances Hope.

“We received a medical call and found that a woman had died,” Trabka said. “It appears that she died giving birth to the triplets in the house.”

Autopsy results were not available Tuesday night.

It appeared the triplets were carried full-term, Trabka said, although he added the family was apparently unaware that Hope was pregnant.

Hope was the mother of two other children, a 6-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl, Mihalko said.

Jamie Sandin, who knew Hope since their freshman year at Shelton High School, said she was shocked when she heard her best friend of 13 years had died.

“My legs went numb, I got nauseous. I couldn’t understand how it could happen,” she said. “I called my mom; I didn’t know what else to do.”

Sandin said her death is a devastating loss.

“She was an incredible mother, a loyal friend and she touched everyone’s life in a positive way,” she said. “We always hung out and would have a great time together.”

Sandin said she had no idea her best friend was pregnant.

“I spoke with her yesterday,” she said. “I never heard her say anything about it.”

She said she just wants to know why she didn’t tell anyone — including her boyfriend, Ricky, the father of her two children, Devin, 6, and Gabby, 2.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, death from childbirth is relatively rare, with fewer than 600 American women dying annually while giving birth as of 2006.

This is so sad. We can’t help but wonder how she carried triplets to full term without her pregnancy being obvious to everyone? This seems to be a deadly case of denial. With proper prenatal care those four deaths may have been prevented!!!

TYLER PERRY MOTHER DIES

ATLANTA (AP) — Movie producer Tyler Perry says his mother, Willie Maxine Perry, has died.

His mother was 64. Tyler Perry announced the news of the Tuesday death on his Web site, where he thanked fans for their prayers. He did not say where his mother died or anything about the cause.

Perry’s publicist did not immediately respond to a phone call.

Year in Review: In Memoriam 2009

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution quoted a 2006 interview with Perry in which he said his mother was the basis for his most popular character, Madea.

The newspaper said Maxine Perry was a preschool teacher who worked at the New Orleans Jewish Community Center for most of her life.

I Lost my ToTo

I can’t seem to stop thinking of my puppy ToTo.  He was a 5 year old Terrier mixed with Poodle.  He had been in my life since 2004.  I miss him so much!  I can’t even express or begin to tell you.  He meant the world to me.  Now some don’t think that puppies have souls but I beg to differ.

ToTo was very much so human.  He was such a big light in my life!  He always made me smile!  ToTo would make you love him.  You couldn’t just come into my house and act like he didn’t exist.  He was smart too!  He knew how to get in the chair at the table and eat with us.  OMG he would lay in the bed with you all day.  If you didn’t move he wouldn’t move.  How could someone kill him?

We live in an evil world now-a-days.  I sometimes wish that I could just die because of all the evil.  It’s just too much for me to handle.  I stay around and encouraged because of my babies to include my three (now two) puppies.  I just know that they need me.

I have a 19 year old daughter that even though she is in the Army I know that she still needs me.  I have a 17 year old son that is sometimes head strong but I know he still needs me.  I also have a 12 year old son that I must stay around for because I know in my heart no one would do right by him right because some think that he is bad.  And now I just have two Maltese left.

ToTo will be memorialized this weekend.  The Animal Control folks didn’t tell me that I could get his remains cremated so I didn’t have that done.  When I called this morning they had already done away with him.  SMH!!!  I type this blog with tears in my eyes.  Oh my I haven’t felt this way since my grand daddy died!!!  It’s an undescribable pain.  But I feel most comfortable when I’m sleep.  When I’m awake I keep seeing his body all over the road behind my house.

And to add to my pain I honestly think that someone in my housing area killed my baby!!!

He was a well diverse puppy.  He had been all over the US and he had very great manners!!  Everybody loved him.  He didn’t meet no strangers.  The world has really lost a precious baby, I promise you!!!

At any rate I will post more about my baby later.  I will also add some pictures for you all to see.  He was a special baby.

What In The World Happen Here???

WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. – A man who thought there was an intruder in his house shot and killed his fiancee the day before they were to be married, police said Friday.

“Right now everything points to a tragic accident,” Police Chief Kevin Brunelle told The Associated Press, adding investigators were awaiting forensic results.

John Tabutt, 62, told investigators he got his gun when he thought he heard an intruder, then fired at a figure in the hallway, according to Brunelle. It was Tabutt’s live-in fiancee, 62-year-old Nancy Dinsmore, who family members say he was going to marry Saturday. Tabutt told authorities he thought she was next to him in bed the whole time.

A message left for a phone number listed for the house was not returned.

Brunelle said no charges have been filed against Tabutt, adding the information he provided has been verified and he appeared “very distraught.”

Tabutt was “very concerned about her well-being,” standing by while she was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, Brunelle added.

‘They loved each other’
The couple planned to wed in a small ceremony Saturday at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Winter Springs, Dinsmore’s son-in-law Scott Sposato, of Vero Beach, told the Orlando Sentinel.

“They loved each other,” he said. “It was quite apparent.”

Tabutt called 911 shortly after 2:30 a.m. Friday, moaning and sobbing, the newspaper reported.

“I thought I had an intruder in the house,” he told the emergency dispatcher. “Honest to God, she looks dead.”

He then thought he heard her take a breath.

“Hang in there, Honey. Hang in there,” he said.

Winter Springs is about 15 miles north of Orlando.

Message to our young brothers in Chicago by Nas

I’m from Chicago and what is happening up there is really disturbing for I still have nieces and nephews that walk those streets.  Lets be in constant prayer for our youth all over.  Read this below and please leave comments:

Dear Young Warriors fighting the wrong wars!   Killing each other is definitely played out. Being hurt from the lost of a love one was never cool.

Dear Young Warriors fighting the wrong war! I know that feeling, that frustration with life and needing to take it out on someone, any one. But….

We chose the dumbest things to go the hardest for.  I remember seeing deaths over 8 ball jackets, Fila sneakers, and name plate chains. Deaths over “he say, she say”!!!!! “I’m from this block or I’m from that block”, or “my moms n pops is f*cked up now the whole world gotta pay”!!!

I remember feeling like I was the hardest “n*gga” breathing.  And I couldn’t wait to prove it. But let’s think. What are we really proving?? And proving what to who?? Everybody knows Chicago breeds the strongest of the strong but I just feel, me, being ya brother from another state feels your pain as if I grew up with you in ya very own household.

You have the ability and mindpower to change they way we are looked at.  Look who’s watching us young warriors, look who’s throwing us in jail constantly, look at the ignorance in the world. Look at the racist dogs who love to see us down. Loving to bury us in the ground or in jail where we continue this worthless war on one another.

Young warriors…. We are WASTING more and more time. We gotta get on our jobs and take over the world. Cuz this movie left the theaters years ago, Juice, Menace, Boys n the Hood , Blood n Blood Out, Belly!

When we see each other why do we see hatred? Why were we born in a storm, born soldiers, WARRIORS….and instead of building each other up we are at war with each other.. May the soul of this young person find peace with the almighty. I’m with you young warriors. You’re me and I’m you. But trust me! you are fighting the wrong war.

This sh*t sucks !!

-Nas

Let it go my young brothers, let it go!!!
